Mikah Salonies MS LPC, serves clients in the St. Charles County and Warren County areas.
She is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 15-years experience and enjoys working with children, adolescents and their families for over 15 years.
She is also a Certified School Counselor and has consulted in many area school districts to help school staff, students and their families find success equal to their potential.
Mikah served to help people in Chicago, Cook County, St. Louis and rural parts of Illinois and Missouri in areas of residential care, including adolescent psychiatric, transitional living and an emergency shelter for youth. She brings multiple years of work in school settings to teach students how to develop behaviors that help them become more successful with their education, and encourage parents to improve their communication and advocacy with the schools.
Mikah most often utilizes an Eclectic Approach of therapy that combines Cognitive Behavioral, Brief Solution Focused, Art, Play, Group, Educational Consultation and Crisis Management.
Her focus is to help others move through their current life barriers, realize their potential, set goals & achieve their dreams. Mikah will see clients in the office, run Group Therapy sessions, and clients in-home.
